So long as we remain human beings, we are bound to make mistakes and offend one another. Some of these wrongs, we are conscious of, others we aren’t.
Where we know, we admit, apologize, hope to be forgiven and move on.
We do these so to strengthen the bond that binds us together in our relationships with our families, friends, spouses etc…
Sometimes we offend people and we don’t realize that our actions are offensive but the reactions of those we offend obviously weighs down on them and they in their stead to prevent future conflicts, withdraw from us and become no longer receptive.
When love grows cold, our relationships won’t thrive. We must always be on guard so not to allow the enemy take advantage to sow tares amongst us where separation might be difficult.
The enemy constantly searches to find a vaccum to fill. When he finds one, he capitalises on our petty flaws and creates mayhem. He steals, destroys and kills what we’ve built over time.
We always ought to be vigilant, praying unceasingly, and steadfastly walk in love. For “Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand with him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken”. Ecc 4:12.
“Some relationships are like pearls we treasure so much that we dread loosing. We hold on to them, regardless.”
